A Link
To an article on Neo-Palamism

Robert Fortuin has written an article, posted over at Eclectic Orthodoxy, responding to an elaborating on remarks I made here some time back regarding Neo-Palamism. As he does a better job at explaining my objections to that school of thought than I did, and makes a number of sharp arguments of his own that I failed to make, I thought I should provide the link above for readers interested in the topic.
For those unacquainted with Eclectic Orthodoxy, I recommend it as a place where the conversation is always of the highest quality.

In my experience this framing feels incomplete to me. The choice between "barrier" and "no barrier" misses something. Like, the limit isn't in God's willingness to give, it's in the creature's capacity to receive. And even that isn't a hard ceiling; it's more like the experience is enabled through the Son, who makes approachable what otherwise simply couldn't be approached. Not a wall. Not no wall. More like the way is Jesus. And if anything my experience is irreducibly Trinitarian each person distinct but not separable.
Well this points me in the direction of a partial answer to my question about your epistemology.
Thank you.
