Over at A Perennial Digression…
Recently, the indispensable Substack publication A Perennial Digression returned from its mysterious abeyance. Now that its author—Irenaeus Tweed, let’s call him—has returned from his retreat deep in the Amazon Jungle (if I have that right), he has decided to pen a series of articles inspired by my recently posted recording of my public lecture “Does Christianity Have a Future?” The first installment appeared yesterday.
It was the damnedest thing—six months in the Amazon, when I had only left the house for a gallon of milk!
This Irenaeaus Tweed guy has already demonstrated that he possesses the same depth of theological knowledge as his previous incarnation David Armstrong. But has he retained his famed popular culture prowess? I am tempted to test him with Star Wars trivia.
