[The list continues to grow, and I continue to try to honor my compact to offer titles that are at once relatively obscure and intrinsically admirable. That said, given that I now have a notebook containing over a thousand potential titles for the series, I am more than willing to take suggestions in future regarding specific kinds of books that readers might be looking for. One reader, for instance, suggested a list devoted entirely to comic works, and I may very well try to oblige him next time around. So, please, let me know.]
