My ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) interview with Meredith Lake is now available in a number of formats, it seems, such as this, and this, and this. I found the conversation especially spiritually nourishing because it Bothe began and ended with baseball, and not at my instigation. That is where Meredith elected to go, which suggests that she understands a good more about me than I have any right to expect of an interviewer.
In connection with the radio interview or podcast, the ABC is also publishing two of my recent Substack articles on their news website, one of which has appeared already.
Another Announcement
A quick question: you note, in your translation to the New Testament, that it has, in many places, a profound aversion to not just all material possessions (Lk. 14:33) but even to the very order of reality (1 Jn. 2:15, etc.). This troubles me, as I'm not inclined to ignore the texts, but I'm not sure how one functions at all if one obeys them. You are very frank about what Jesus says, but you are not a renunciate, and you still have some material possessions—how do you interpret these verses in light of, well, life in the cosmos?
