Lux aeterna luceat eo
I didn't know him. I didn't know of him. But I read every word slowly, with an enlivened awareness of the journey we all share, and what some special ones among us make of it.
Sounds like an exceptional person. I’m sorry for your loss and will keep him in my prayers. Memory Eternal.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon him.
Thank you for sharing your memories of Tom with us. I hope to meet him in the light of the Resurrection.
What a fine tribute. And what a delightful person you describe.
May his memory be eternal.
I didn't know Tom personally but did read his work and hear him lecture. And now realise that the shock of hearing of his death is a reflection of the fulness of life that he conveyed, and so clearly participated in. Thank you for what you say.
"[We] would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep." - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
Eternal rest give to him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him: With Thy Saints for evermore, for Thou art gracious.
The loss of a friend being as incomprehensibly painful as it is, I can only say that my heart goes out to you. I hope you find peace in your grief.
May his memory be for a blessing.
Thank you, David.
May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
I'm terribly sorry for the loss of your friend hes seems like a wonderful man.
